All our slates meet the British BS680 1971: Part 2 standard and also the America ASTM C120-90, C121-90 and C217-94 standard. Testing was conducted out by STATTS Laboratories and Stanger Testing Services Ltd. All our slates have also passed the new European BS EN 12326:2004 standard. This testing was carried out by IBIS Ltd and the summary of this testing is show below.
As well as being continuously tested in China, our slates are also regularly selected for laboratory tests by ourselves and our customers in the UK. These tests are designed to assess if the slate products will withstand the most severe atmospheric circumstances.
Hard copies of all test certificates and reports are available on request.
